Julio Blanco has been an avid wine collector and enthusiast since 2003. Julio holds professional certifications in wine that include WSET Level 3 (advanced) w/Distinction in wine, French Wine Scholar (FWS), Master of Rioja Wines from N.A.S.A, and is currently pursuing his Spanish Wine Scholar (SWS) & Italian Wine Scholar (IWS) certificates. He has traveled to many of the world's wine regions that include Napa Valley, Sonoma, Canada, Germany, Bordeaux, Alsace, Ribera del Duero, El Priorat, Rioja, Jerez de la Frontera, Piedmonte (Barolo & Barbaresco), Bergamo (Franciacorta) and Walla Walla, Washington, Virginia. His wife Rebeca holds a WSET Level 1 and has also visited many of the world's wine regions. She is a Chef specializing in healthy lifestyle cuisine and is in charge of media and customer relations.
